Our story began and quickly ended in 2011 with a brief Facebook exchange. Ryker decided the perfect way to flirt with me was a simple and to the point: Ur hot.

It took me nearly a day to reply a simple: Thanks :)

And he followed up with an "Anytime."

We always joke that he must have really meant anytime, because 7 years later, he once again decided to tell me that I was indeed, hot.

After their 2011 exchange, it took nearly 7 years for Ryker and Sabrina's paths to truly cross again. Growing up on opposite sides of towns, with a lot of mutual friends, they always knew each other from a distance, but in 2018, it was as if they had been best friends their entire lives.

It all started when Sabrina showed up uninvited to Ryker's 22nd birthday. After he basically ignored her the entire night (this is up for debate), Sabrina ended up talking to his mom who told her before she left: My son is going to fall in love with you.

The next week Sabrina ran into Ryker again but when she opened the gate and saw the stupidest smile on Ryker's face she thought dang, this boy is either going to break her heart, or marry her. After a few weeks, Ryker sat her down to ask "Do you even like me?!" and Sabrina realized that she had met her match. From that day on, for the past 5+ years, they have been inseparable.

They've traveled, changed jobs, moved to Santa Clara, went back to school, and constantly found new adventures (or new TV shows to binge watch).

They are each other's biggest cheerleader. Ryker lets Sabrina talk his ear off for hours with the perfect amount of nodding in agreement, and he'd go to battle for her any day. They absolutely love spending all of their time together and can't wait for all they will accomplish and explore together throughout their lives.
